REVIEW: Alter's Tales of Vesperia Yuri Lowell

 Review time again

Up for review this time is Alter's Tales of Vesperia Yuri Lowell from there ALTAiR line.

Firest up some pictures of this beautiful guy from different views.

First up some full view pictures

some more shot this time from the side and the back

some more of the other side and back as you can see very nicely done

some more side views coming back around the fron

Last fullview shot along with his chibi version, next up some close ups off the bottom half of him

Some more views as you can see the detail on his boots and the gold pain on his sheath

The other side and a front veiw i love the wind swept sash

Thats it for the bottom views next some close up of the top half

I love the wind swept hair and ribbion very nicley done

Last view for top as you can see from the pictures he very well sculptured

Next is the chibi version of Yuri that comes with him

Just like one that came with Flynn the detail is great espcially considering the size of him

They have all detail down perfectly even down to the buttons on his boots

Both chibi Yuri and Flynn together
Sculpting - As i said the the Flynn review the more Alter figure i get the more they become my fav. company. As you can see from the pictures and just like the Flynn figure he very well sculped almost no seam lines at all the only one was one on the top of his hair for his but Flynn was the same. The sculpting on his clothes are very good the way the clothes fold espically on his arm and the way the boots crease at the bottom of the foot.   9/10

Painting - The painting on him is almost prefect, just like all the other Alter figures ive had there seem to be no colour bleed at all that i can see. The detail of painting is stop on from the beautifull colours of his out fit to the beautiful gold bangle around his wrist all the way down to the detail on the buttons that are on his boots no expence has been spare when the paiting was down.  9/10

Posing  - Just like his counter part Flynn and like the other Alter figures ive got the pose is simple but effective you don't need to be over the top to be effective and eye catching just a simple pose can some times be the best. I love how he matches Flynn with the wind swept look, the pose is very Yuri like and i don't think they could have picked a better pose.    9/10

Below will be some pictures of the packaging. I think the pagacking suits Yuri very well. Its a simple deisgn mostly open with windows but none the less niceley done. The only thing is because of the giant window it kind of a bit flismy and can be easy sqished if you are not carefull.

First a couple of pictures from the front just like Yuri the box is mainly made up a window so Yuri and his chibi version can clearly be seen through it. Now that i look at Yrui is on the opposite say as Flynn just like when they are put together.

Next up from views from the side and back, the design of the box is exactly the same for both figures  just that everything is on the opposite side to each other

View from the other side and the front again. The colours they used just like Flynn suit Yuri very well. They changed Yuri's colours to dark black as opposed to Flynns white.

A close up of the Vesperia symbol on the side of the box  and Yuri in the blister pack open as you can see neatly packed and a bit of protective seal.

As with Flynn he didn't come with must protective seal mainly on the back some on the front.

He also came with instructions on haow to attatch him to the base and how to attach his sheath and sword.

The two bases the smaller one for the chibi came with metal pegs for the feet the larger one came with plastic pegs but i had no trouble fitting them in there. Just like Flynn's base it comes with a different shape on one side so that the base can be matched with the other one.

Now that i have Yuri i cane now finaly put them both together there bases fit snuggley together with no problems at all.

The base for Yuri just like Flynn's is nicely done, giving the impression of pavement tiles using the different colours gives it an even more realistic effect to it. The pegs are plastic like the base but the his feet fitted nicely in to the holes with no trouble.

I could have kicked myself when i for some reason i decided not to order him the first time that he came up for order thats why when he came back up for a re-release i jumped at the chance to own him and ordered Flynn at the same time i didn't want one if i couldn't get the other rather not have either.
Im please with the out come of him and he takes center stage along with Flynn on the middle of my shelf.

I love to look him the detail is amazin and i love his boots i want a pair XD

Overall Rating 9/10
